Follow Ryan Sandes and Ryno Griesel’s on their attempt of the Drakensberg Grand Traverse. Roughly 140 miles across the Drakensburg mountains on the central South African plateau, the route takes hikers more than a week to finish. Sandes and Griesel ran it in 42 hours.
